Quite good again!

Story, characters and location are wonderful and unique as they entertain and surprise readers. Also one of the most marvelous narrators!

Enjoyed but some plotholes

I generally love this series so far, but I thought this one had a few, well, if not plotholes, at least plot divots. The fact that they weren't telling the police information didn't work for me. It seemed rather arbitrary. However, the author did well with the rest of the book, as per usual, and the cozy details made me feel relaxed. I will definitely continue with the series.

Surprise Transition Character

First of all, let me say, the overall storyline for the first two books has been amazing. This particular book was also good. I would just like to leave one critique. The main reason why I’m like this series is because there’s no love story. Yes you can spend close pros proximity to someone and be inclined to be closer to them than you were when you first met. But my goal and reading these books was to read and be encapsulated in a good mystery. Having said that 2, I’m not into witches. I could definitely go for anosy person in a small town, which is so true and so common. That will definitely have thrown the reader off the scent of who done it. But for the writer of publisher to feel, it needed to add a witch to make something dramatic happened; kind of disappoints me. I realize that timeline and that particular region of the world that was a practice or belief. Yet, I hope that the next few writings will continue to give me something good to wish for. I do believe that because they use a witch in this particular book. is why I figured out the killer and ending before the end. thank you and onto the next book.

The story was quite interesting, had the villain figured out pretty soon-
But the history of the signal was worth the listen

Transported in time.

I felted as if I was right there with them.
I could visualize the places and feel all the emotions.
The hint of romance it gives was just fine.
Definitely would recommend! 👍

Another Great Read

Flora and Jack are actually going to Cornwall where Jack plans to work on his latest book, and Flora assists while getting a much needed rest. Needless to say, things don't work out quite as planned. Murder may have become the expected but spies and witches? All in all, this was an engaging read. It dragged a bit in spots as Jack grappled with his book, but I cannot wait for Flora and Jack's next adventure.

Exceptionally well written and very talented narration. The story is rich in details, with interesting insights into Cornish WWII history and well developed characters. I really enjoyed this book and plan to listen to the rest of the series.

I’m enjoying this series. Nice story. Good narrator. Easy to follow so I can put it in while I’m working around the house or traveling.

I like the war history, the setting in Cornwall and the characters. The book was great.
