Plot twist!

I always enjoy these books! Although there were a few weak points that aren't usually present, there were a couple plot twists that I enjoyed.

There were a few points where the questions asked just didn't make sense or the sheriff was saying things that really had me doubting his critical thinking skills. 😅 But other than that, I really enjoyed this book.

Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?

This book had the best plot and story line of any of the Murder, She Wrote books I have listened to, and I've listened to a lot. This is by far my favorite. The characters are easy to follow, the story line is believable and there is suspense and surprises.

What does Sandra Burr bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

I love her as a narrator.

The best of the series

I love this series. Some of the stories were not so great but this was fun, suspenseful and full of life. (Murder mystery...full of life). Anyway, this is a great read and really the absolute best.

You become a part of Cabot Cove

If you grew up on MSW reruns, then this book will be like an unaired episode. And because you have actually seen the town, it does feel like you're there. Story and narrator were great. But if they were to make these books into dramatized adaptations, they would breathe a whole new life into the series.

Good Entry in the Series

A suspicious death. A "haunted" house. A mysterious stranger. Sounds like Jessica Fletcher has another mystery to solve.

I'm a long time fan of this series. I enjoyed it when it was on TV and I've read many of the books. The pace is moderate, there is no graphic sex or violence, and no crude language. When I want something relaxing and enjoyable this series is a good choice for me.

If you've enjoyed other books in the series, you'll probably like this one.

Great story line. Not easily predictable. Kept me entertained and ready for more. Looking forward to the next book.
