When Jessica receives a call that her old friend Tillie Mortelaine passed away, she is surprised to learn that Tillie bequeathed her a million dollars. All Jessica has to do is solve a decades-old mystery - the murder of Tillie's fiancé Wanamaker Jones. There is no shortage of suspects. Many in Savannah stand to benefit from Tillie's will or are looking to prosper from her death. With people opposing her at every turn in her investigation, will Jessica be able to solve the crime, or will she fail her friend?

Would you listen to Murder, She Wrote again? Why?
I might in a few years time. The plot twists were what made it fun for me. I'd need some time to let them fade in my memory before I listened to the story again.Who was your favorite character and why?
Jessica Fletcher. I enjoyed Angela Lansbury's portrayal of her in the TV series. When I read this series I see Angela as Jessica in my mind's eye. Jessica is intelligent, thoughtful, classy, and sensible (most of the time). What about Cynthia Darlow’s performance did you like?
Once the "voices" of the characters were established, the performance was seamless for me. I forgot it was one person performing all of them.Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
I did get very caught up in the story. I stayed up past my usual bed time to listen to the last hour.Any additional comments?
I've enjoyed all the books of this series. When I'm in the mood for a good story, "Murder She Wrote" always satisfies me. This story held a few more surprises than usual. For me it was one of the best of the series.Surprises
