About this listen

Live...laugh...listen...with New York Times best-selling author Christie Craig....

Being a mama is hard. But the job's even tougher when you're dead....

Cali McKay's mama isn't ready to pass over to the "other side" yet. Her unlucky-in-love daughter needs her now more than ever. Before Mama can chain-smoke her way to heaven, she's gotta make sure Cali's deadbeat ex-boyfriend doesn't get her daughter killed.

Grief sucks. Love heals....

Cali lost her mom to cancer. Detective Brit Lowell lost his partner to murder. Now he's in the mood to take down some dirtbags, and Cali's ex just happens to be a dirtbag leaving a trail of dead bodies behind him. Can Brit trust this beautiful woman to help take down her ex? Can Cali look past this sexy cop's hard exterior to trust him with her heart? Can life get any crazier when Mama starts meddling from the grave?

Only one thing is for sure - none of it will matter unless they catch a killer before the killer catches them.

Cute

A cute little story. Nothing too bland or over the top. I enjoyed it. Especially the ghost that smokes.

Totally enjoyable book

This is my first Christie Craig book and I totally loved it! Lots of mystery, love, laughter, and action as well as interesting psychological struggles to be overcome. I am definitely looking forward to another book by this author.

This book was a real struggle!

I have listened to other books by Christie Craig with enjoyment however this one was so dreary and annoying I had to force myself to finish it so as not to waste my credit! I actually could not stand the heroine, the hero was somewhat likeable but I could not see why he liked said heroine! Dreary plot that just kept getting more boring by the chapter! Our hero and heroine had no spark, they were at odds the whole way through the book, actually until the last chapter, no trust or truths between these characters, it was so very aggravating, nothing but misunderstandings! I gave two stars for Holly Chandler as her narration was about the only decent thing about this book! To me even one star was one too many for this story....sorry Ms. Craig!
