Kate is a former escort for lesbians. Hera is a widow whose partner died a year ago and who can’t see past Kate’s former profession. Great characters and performance. Recommend Series.

Love in the Next Chapter

I totally enjoyed the story of these two women figuring out the next chapter of their lives. Both transitioning from different points, trying to carve out a future. I struggle with the age difference but perhaps that is jealousy. I loved the friendship’s, the importance of communication and even the vulnerability. I felt the emotions at every stage. What a wonderful writer and intoxicating narrator

Another great couple from the series. Harper Bliss is such a great author. Love all her books! Angela Dawe is chef’s kiss as narrator.

This is one of my favorite books so far. Very well written and read. I wish it didn’t end.

This story touches on a very real topic for many women. I went through it with my partner and can relate Very well done.

Hot and Steamy!!

This book deals with the passing of a partner, which I have lived through, so I found myself touched by this very much. Even to the fact of not being intimate prior to their passing. Not because I didn't love her, but because I was dealing with my own crap! She never wavered, just like Sam in this story. I don't want to ruin the book for you by saying too much, but I will say it is absolutely worth a listen!

Every Harper Bliss book is a party

And this one s no different. but it was too short, and ended leaving me wanting more. I would have liked to know a little more about Cat and Hyra after the end of the book. So I guess MS Bliss will have to write a number 10 Coffee Bean...
And Angela Dawe? What can I say about her, she has this sexy voice that goes directly to...

Good story - SUPERLATIVE narration!

Harper Bliss is simply one of the finest romance authors around. Her ability to take a character - be it the President of France, or an Australian call girl - and make her into a believable human being with real needs and desires is nothing short of remarkable. Like much of the Pink Bean series, this story effectively explores the themes of societal expectations and prejudices and their effects on people and relationships. The descriptions of the characters, their feelings, and desires are finely wrought and woven together in a viable plot that feels as if it were drawn from real life. That being said, The end of the book feels somewhat rushed and abruptly ends in a matter which I can only describe as "ante-climactic".

Angela Dawe - what can I say? Ms. Dawe is a wonderful reader who gives each of the myriad characters in the Pink Bean series an individual voice and fills each story with moving emotion and hypnotic sensuality. In her performance of this book, she truly brings it. I would have leapt to my feet to give her a standing ovation, but was stuck to my chair in awe of how truly amazing her narration was. Superlative - that's what I can say.
