About this listen

An American beauty stranded by a shattered promise on Australia's vast shores...

After sailing to Australia only to find that the man who asked her to marry him has no intention of fulfilling his part of the bargain, Maggie Chamberlain vows to shape a new life for herself in Sydney. Then arrogant, wealthy Reeve McKenna captures Maggie's untried heart, thrilling her senses with the sweet, dark rush of desire. But Reeve cannot be hers alone, for he is obsessed by his search for his beloved brother James, lost two decades before.

Reeve's fierce hunger for the Yankee beauty is not yet love, and Maggie wants both the breathless pleasure of his passion and the full surrender of his heart - or nothing at all.

One of America's most romantic writers, Linda Lael Miller brings the white-hot passion of Moonfire to the Australian frontier country in this sensuous story of two lovers bound by desire.

Not much of a plot

Too much sex and no real plot. It was hard to finish. Simply stupid, not one of her better books.

Many twists and turns in this story!

I think I may have found a new favorite author. I just loved the characters and their interactions and especially the way things all worked out even though it appeared that they might not.

Very enticing, Didn't want to stop listening!

Any additional comments?

Great story. Characters you grow to like and villains you love to hate. It's a story with twists and turns that make you keep listening and when you are forced to hit the pause button you want to get back to it as soon as possible. Linda Lael Miller did a great job on this one!

Short But Enjoyable

This was one of Miller's shorter stories but it didn't leave you wondering about back stories like some of her other short stories.

Too much

There were so many twists every time a new character was introduced I got frustrated and then bored.
This book would have made a good trilogy just by adding a different heroine in each and splitting up all of the plot lines.
