Nice book
Interesting story, short on the believability, short on action, short on thrill. Safe for younger teens and adults who like to avoid the heavy hitting dystopian thriller.

Fantastic Book loved every bit of it. The writing is a little on the childish side but i think that's the point as its supposed to be a recorded events by a teenager

I've listened 5th or 6th time 5/5 stars
The Monument 14 are 14 students from kindergarten to seniors in high school are taking refuge in a super department store during a major works disaster. This is my comfort series like comfort food or super soft warm blankets. Not because the series is soft. The characters are tough, resourceful kids who fight for each other in different fallible and, yet heroic ways. And there is love and it's tested. Great characters. Great stories.

Listening for a second time
Would you consider the audio edition of Monument 14 to be better than the print version?
The first in a 3 book series, had me on my toes the entire time. I really cared about the "kids" in this book. If you like the "Hunger Games" or "Walking Dead" this series might pull you in. I loved all 3 books.

Great young adult apocalyptic fun read
It is a fun read. A bunch of kids surviving the Apocalypse in a supermarket. Not life changing, but enjoyable and entertaining.

Not Just for Teens
Where does Monument 14 rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
Excellent. I looked forward to listening each time I exercised.

Even though the story involves teens and kids, it is interesting enough to be enjoyed by adults. There are some graphic descriptions of wounds and sex so it is not appropriate for kids.
