But from the minute I met an angry ghost in the hall, I knew there wasn't going to be anything ordinary about this house or its dead residents. First of all, there were way too many of them. Second, some of them had been helped along from living to dead. Third, my attempt to figure out what was going on got a bit sidetracked when I met the gardener. He was tall, dark green, and handsome. And really, really smart. So I hired him to help me figure out what was going on.

Brilliant! Loved it!
I really enjoyed this story when I'd read it, and already liked Vix and Baz from book 1. Vix is a bundle of fun and Paris is perfect for him. The story is totally entertaining, funny, with a great found family of super villains, lol. Eagerly waiting for Garrett's story!
I was so happy to get my hands on the audio; it did not disappoint - the audio is fan-effing- tastic! Zachary Zaba really did a great job with the characters, the humour and the nuances of the situations, e.g. vulnerability when Vix is unsure of his place in the League of Supervillains or when he thinks he's too much for Paris. I enjoyed his performance in book 1 and I think he's even better in this book.
