Great addition to the series!

I'm a fan of all things Galaxy's Edge, loved this addition to the series! Love all the books with Tyrus Rechs in them. Great narrator.

Welcome back Tyrus

A great addition to the canon. Now on to the next book. Lucky me it released right after I started this one. :-)
The new narrator is great. Bray can stay busy. We have a new narrator that nails it.

What a ride

This is now one of my favorite books ever. Loved it. Great narrator! You really should listen to this.

Not the best by far, but still strong to the end

Heard all of the past and even the Uncommon Valor after this one, by far this is a test of your devotion to being a Fan of Tyrus Rechs. I'll tell you straight, without ruining too much, hopefully. But BE WARNED!!!! The first three chapters of this audio book is nothing but Mephisto's character. Understandable about the Title itself says it all, but seriously? Does it need Three Whole Chapters to go into that much repetitive info about "Mephisto"? It could have been summarized into only one chapter. I was tempted to skip, but just didn't know when it would really get to Tyrus Rechs. From chapter 4 onwards the pace did pick up and the good ole' bounty hunter does deliver. It's a good listen that leads up to the next book of Uncommon Valor book 5, so don't skip this book

Great, but half finished.

Good story but is definitely not a finished stand alone story. It feels as if the author decided to double his money by splitting the book into two small parts rather than have a somewhat long book.

Solid but limited TRex time

For a series dedicated to Tyrus, he really didn't have much of a presence here. I feel this is just a build up for maybe the next book which is frustrating since this means this book cannot stand alone as a full story.

Delightful Dive Back Into Tyrus Rechs

Loved everything about this new release. Unlike other reviewers, I’m thrilled they used a new narrator. Despite the eloquence of Ray Porter, he made grizzled legionnaires sound like annoying adolescents. The story and deep delve into the life of the infamous bounty hunter/general was more than satisfying especially the further development of Baldur’s arc.

The beginning of the book takes a new approach, or maybe Jason and Nick are just experimenting with how to frustrate pumped-up G.E. fans who would rather dive straight into the carnage and KTFs as quickly as possible. But I promise, it's all worth it in the end.

Before now, I have listened repeatedly to the previous Contract and Termination books, never getting enough of reliving the incredible experiences of the strong, flawed, and indomitable Tyrus Rechs. The two newest titles, "Mephisto's Game" and "Uncommon Valor," which I have already finished listening to, are just as awesome.

Thanks to Jason and Nick for continuing the series and promising more. And I dig the new narrator—just give him time, and he'll grow on you.

another great one

The galaxy's edge universe is just fun to listen to. so far I've loved every single book in this series and its spin offs. this book is no exception.

no one will replace bray and porter, but this narrator does an amazing job. it passes the GE vibe check for me. give it a shot if you are a fan of the series, you will not be disappointed.
