This is one of my favorite soundscapes. It reminds me of the cabin in the woods I grew up at as a kid. I often fell asleep to rain showers and thunderstorms in the night. This audio has a distant loon, an owl and a few frog calls as well - which I love! We don’t have loons where I live now so this audio brings back great memories. I usually fall asleep soon after the 1st loon calls, before the owl and the frog (none of which I even heard the 1st five times I played this. They are like “Easter Eggs.” Now I turn the volume up to catch them too. But you don’t have to - it’s a choice).
Note - “Story” section above - this audio begins with a quick “This is Audible” statement before the storm begins. I’m still getting ready for bed, so no worries. The audio ends with another quick “Audible hopes you enjoyed this program” before finishing off. (Both statements must be required). If you have the volume loud to catch the loon, owl, frog calls (like me, sometimes) the last statement is loud. So I simply set my “Sleep” timer just ahead of the audios ending to cut that statement out. Easy Peasy. (The statement is barely noticeable unless your volume is up). I’ve forgotten to set the Sleep/End timer a few times. I don’t hear that closing statement much when volume is low. At least it hasn’t waken me up - just when I have it set loud.
I really like this one.

AND THERE IS NO MUSIC. :D

Love this! Distant loon, owl and frog
