Thomas var sikker på, at flugten fra Labyrinten ville betyde frihed for ham og de andre lysboere. Selv i sin vildeste fantasi havde han ikke regnet med, at noget endnu værre var i vente. Jorden er lagt øde. Udbruddet hærger. Kun de rigeste får behandling, ingen bliver helbredt.

Der er spænding igennem hele bogen, og specielt nær slutningen var jeg 100 % klar til at gå ind og stikke et par lussinger, hvis det kunne hjælpe mine drenge.
