Romans demystifies the complex world of early-stage venture financings, complicated later stage structured deals, and the evolving world of exits from secondaries, M&A, and IPOs. "I have witnessed the VC industry evolve in the Silicon Valley for over 3.5 decades and Romans has condensed lessons from multiple lifetimes of the best VCs and founders into a short number of pages. This is must read scripture for any founder heading down the path of venture capital fundraising and seeking to make the startup-VC partnership work." - Dixon Doll, Co-Founder & Partner Emeritus, DCM Ventures, US NVCA Chair (2008-09)

Her family was issued an insane ransom demand: $25 million in cash and jewels, payable by the end of the school day, otherwise they’ll never see her again.
