About this listen

Everything can’t be about school....

The third-year students are about to take on those who know them best.

Each other.

Using a variation of the classic game of Capture the Flag, Kaiden and his friends must join teams and battle each other.

It is time for Kaiden to learn what it means to lead.

Then, when they are out on the town, an opportunity is handed to the students on a silver platter.

Kaiden has a job offer to help protect a business in San Diego, but he needs more members. Will the students join him?

If they do join him, will they survive? Few of the other students have taken on outside jobs like Kaiden has.

Further, will the teachers find out about it?

You don't become the best of the best by staying alive. In the Animus, you are closer to perfection with each death you suffer.

Kaiden Jericho would rather skip the death part, thank you very much.

Includes special note from co-author Michael Anderle.

thanks

I have enjoy this series very much. it has great pacing, excellent characters, and an exciting story line. there's only one complaint and that is they are missing a very good story arc in the synapse experience points. they're missing a very exciting and compelling area of the storyline and even joke about not using it. I still do enjoy the whole series.

insight

It was great to learn more about Sasha and Lorrie. The story was not as interesting as the back story about Sasha and Lorrie

Finally real life team up!

I love all the books in the Animus Series. And finally seeing most of them team up for a merc mission was awesomesauce. My only nag is that the entire book takes place in less than a 48 hour period.

awesome book

As usual, I couldn't wait to listen to the book. Scott does a great job with the characters. I am looking forward to the next book(s) and seeing what happens to the gang. I think Chief is one of my favorite characters.

too short

love these stories, though they seem to keep getting shorter. Story for the money and all.

Love it but getting short for the price.

I love this series but the books seem to be getting shorter plus some of the time is fluffed with an origin story. Not that the origins are bad but it feels like I'm getting shorted on the main story. I'm up to infiltrator but I think I'm done til there's a sale or a compilation.

good book.. not worth 20 dollars.

it's wat too short for 20 dollars, but oh well I'm hooked. I'd advising putting a few books together in a publisher's pack

The action scenes are great ending not so much

I appreciated the explanation of how the Animus came to be the relationship of Sasha and Laurie. Starting the mercy book on my way home, the cover seems exciting.
