About this listen

Grace Gardner has done everything she can to try and fit into society, but she simply isn't that kind of girl. With her love of horses and passion for the wild terrain of Texas, she and her Mama fear that she will never find a man to marry her. But, just maybe, if she takes matters into her own hands, she might find the right man after all.

Owain Jones left Wales with hopes of making his fortune, and helping out his family. But his arrival showed him the stories of streets paved with gold were just that, stories. Undaunted, he joined the army, serving in a cavalry regiment for many years, until he could take it no more. Offered the chance to start again by Sheriff Kimball, Owain makes his way to Faith Creek, but can he ever leave his past behind him and build the loving family he longs for?

Sweet Historical Romance

I think this might be my favorite so far! She’s a pioneer in the fact that she wants to break into the male dominated work force! She meets her perfect match and I just love his business plan for her! I also love how her cousin faces the bandits and grows enough backbone to stand up to his mother and Grace’s Aunt!
Great narration as usual!

Texas Mail Order Bride-Old West Refreshingly Moder

Karla Gracey brings us a clean, sweet, Old West Texas Mail order bride story with refreshingly modern and new sensibilities. (This is part of a 15+ book series of works that function well as stand alones.)

This was so good.

Let me start by saying I love when Allen Taylor narrated. He is one of my favorite western no Raiders. I love the tone of his voice is in flux and everything. Now I have a love-hate relationship withCarla Gracie, Because I find she gives her characters 21st-century opinions too often. Somethings I can let go and other things just drive me crazy. And this book she didn’t either I thought this was a great book and a great example of an awesome historical romance mail order bride story and if you like that type a story this is a book for you. I love her stories because you can read them in one setting and move on to the next and I also love the fact she likes to make box sets thank you Carla put your 10 book box sets I love them. Even if they have 21st-century opinions LOL!
