Nice stories…but why this narrator??

I love this genre and these books are good, clean, very enjoyable, and pretty typical of the genre. My main problem is this narrator. I’ve heard her read at least 30 books, probably way more, and am always amazed at how she chooses to pronounce words she doesn’t know. And these are never difficult words, in fact, just the opposite and pretty standard for westerns. I’ve left many reviews, hoping either the publisher will teach Gina Dobbs to use google or just hire someone else. Example: reticule - a little old fashioned handbag pronounced re-ti-kewl, but she keeps pronouncing it re-tick-you-lay. How can you narrate historical fiction and not be able to say the most basic words?? It’s so distracting and even disrespectful to the authors.

This is a spell binding storyline of the early 1880s in America of what and how couples came to meet, while living hundred miles apart, to marry and develope strong loving families as they faced challenges of coming from so many different lifestyles. Each book filled with encouraging storyline.

It was good store's and exciting too!

I like all five books the stories kept you guessing what would happen next well read and written!
