I've always loved the humor in this series, the characters are so lovable...even Edgar.
The only thing I have to complain about is having to wait for the next book to come out. This is my all-time favorite series and I've listened to it in its entirety several times. Much love K.F. Breene!

Love this series!
Loved the education for women in emotionally abusive relationships. Also love that it looks like there are more stories coming. They still need to take down the corrupt Mages Guild.

I hope this series never ends
I absolutely love the characters and their antics. We finally get more insight into Jess’ past, and her crappy ex husband. We’re learning more about Niamh’s past. Not to mention Tristan and the captain. I cannot wait to see what this crew does next.

Light hearted
After the battle in the previous book, this one was written as a breather. Characters, new and old, are being maneuvered for the next book. Jessie's issues from her 'Jane' life are being resolved, so she can grow. This is not a book to skip in the series. While it is more lighthearted, this is a progression book. The calm before the storm. I liked the book enough to listen to it twice in two days.

Good placement book
It’s a good place holder book. You get caught up with the characters, but it still leaves you hanging with the main bad people. I am anxiously awaiting for that story to unfold.

Absolutely Wonderful
Magical Midlife Awakening was one of the best in this series hands down. I love this series and it gets better and better with every book. I am so looking forward to the next book. I don't even want to think about this series ending anytime soon. Excellent narration as usual. I highly recommend this book and series.
