Publisher's summary
I’ve coveted a lot of valuables in my life. Magic was never one of them.
My plan was to spend my days on a little team-building, a headquarters’ renovation, and an overdue date with a smoking-hot shifter. Instead, I’m stuck learning to wield a magic as unpredictable as my nature.
As the first known shifter witch hybrid, my sexy alpha werewolf isn't the only one pressuring me to join ranks. The local coven is determined to get me under control. With their rules and rituals, they're worse than a supernatural H.O.A. Too bad, I'm allergic to being told what to do.
When a demon spell book makes a cameo on a celebrity gossip show, the Enclave hands me the distraction I need. Going undercover on a movie set sounds like a sweet gig. A week of flamboyant costumes, daredevil stunts, and glitzy parties should make it an easy job.
Unfortunately, Los Angeles is a magnet for more than wannabe starlets. If the vampires get their hands on that book of spells, Hollywood won’t be the only place overrun with demons. With an all-access-pass to our world, it’ll take more than my unpredictable magic to hold off the demon war that’s brewing.
Magic Heist is the third book in the Riley Cruz series about a goat shifter who steals magical artifacts. If you like fun, fast-paced urban fantasy with quirky characters and a dose of slow-burn romance, this is the book for you.

Story
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Listening to the narration makes a wonderful book even better!
Riley is my favorite shifter of all time! She is everything a goat is known for...headstrong, insatiably hungry, curious, determined, plus intelligent, independent, loyal, and very enthusiastic. She is wonderful! She needs her found family around her for sure in this story, as she attempts to steal a dangerous spell book, avoid a coven who want to control her, and a shifter pack who want to absorb her. It is a very compelling tale and I recommend it to anyone who loves quirky urban fantasy! I have also Listened to the audio book version, which Maria McCann narrates perfectly. She is absolutely the voice of Riley. Everything about this is marvelous.

Another fantastic installment in the Riley Cruz series!
I not only really liked this heist story, I really liked seeing all of the team work together and learning more about some of them as well (yes, I am talking about you, Garth).
The author does a fantastic job with recapping what happened in the last book, without rehashing the whole thing-the summary is perfect. I also really have grown to appreciate Riley and how she is maturing and still maintaining a sense of self.
Definitely recommend this book and every other one in the series. I'm looking forward to the next installment!

Riley keeps getting better!
I just finished the audio of this book and I cannot think of anything I hadn't already said! I absolutely love this narrator and she does such a fantastic job with Riley and Kali!
Another absolutely amazing book in the Riley Cruz series! Riley has finally found out that she has magic, even if she doesn’t think it is much. While trying to figure out what magic she can do, they find out she is immune to it - which they already somewhat knew. But now that she magic, the local coven thinks they are entitled to take Riley into their headquarters and will so whatever it takes to try to get her there. At the same time, the team is on a job for the Conclave. A demon spellbook has been spotted on TV in the hands of a popular stuntman and they must retrieve it. But of course, they are not the only ones looking for it! Is it Bellarose? Is it someone new? What will happen if they don’t get this book?
As always, this book is hilarious and the Stitch Witches had me in stitches! (See what I did there lol) Helen is one of my favorite side characters ever. The way those ladies protect Riley is amazing and how strong and spry they are for their age makes me want to be like them when I get that age. And Nash is definitely coming around after Riley saved the day in the last book. Aside from Garth, he’s really turning into a team player. And Garth… I love Garth and I just knew there would be more than meets the eye with that little rooster!
Riley is still Riley and I love that no matter what happens she won’t change. She knows who she is and doesn’t care what anyone thinks of her. She is finally starting to get some answers about her past, but not enough to get the whole picture. But she never lets that get her down either! Not even Volkov’s mom can get to her!
I have said it before, and I stick by it when I say Max Volkov is my book boyfriend. This book just cemented it for me! Between wanting the perfect first date (even if said date ends up “blowing up in his face”), his protectiveness of Riley and the secret charity event that had me tearing up at the end - there is no doubt he is the perfect book BF!! Although they do have their bumps n the road as any normal couple would.
There is lots of suspense in this book and we get more tidbits about Riley’s past. There is another revelation towards the end and but there are still more questions we need answered! I can’t wait for the next book to find out more about Riley and see what her magic can do!!
