About this listen

Avi Mulvaney is many things. Son. Twin. Owner of the fashion label, Gemini. Murderous psychopath. Together, he and his brother, Asa, make one brutally efficient monster, ridding the world of predators who victimize the innocent. History proves Avi and Asa don’t do well apart, but their father has decided to test that theory.

Felix Navarro knows exactly who he is. Baby brother. Fashionista. Vigilante. While he’s not happy that his big brother married a Mulvaney, the union has its perks. Like a paid internship with Gemini. But all good things come with a cost and, for Felix, that’s enduring Avi Mulvaney each day, which inevitably leads to thinking about him every night.

Felix doesn’t like Avi. He’s cocky, condescending, overbearing, and inappropriate. He’s also sexy, brilliant, and twice as lethal as Felix. Still, Felix loathes him. Even if he keeps letting him kiss him. And touch him. Even if he slipped just once. It was still hate sex, and it would never happen again. Ever.

Except, Avi’s being sent to help take down a dangerous crime ring and he’s ordered Felix to come along. Felix has vowed to stay strong. To remember he hates Avi. But they’re trapped together and there’s only one bed, and it’s so hard to hate Avi in the dark when he’s whispering how Felix belongs to him. Felix belongs to no man, but Avi is determined. He has one week to prove to Felix that he’s the exception to his rule. After all, who says no to a Mulvaney?

Mad Man is a scorchingly hot, intense enemies-to-lovers, psychopath romance with an HEA and no cliff-hangers. It features a dirty-talking, brutally vicious killer and a sharp-tongued murderous fashionista, who are both too stubborn for their own good. As always, there’s gratuitous violence, very dark humor, enough blood to film the final scene in the movie Carrie, and enough heat to melt your panties. This is book five in the Necessary Evils series. Each book follows a different couple.

Liam can do no wrong!

I love Onley James' books and I love Liam DiCosimo's voice! The ebooks and audio have become instant buys for me. With each new book, I fall in love with the characters more and more (although Freckles and Jericho are my #1). Mad Man is delicious. Felix is amazing and I wish I had an ounce of his confidence. Onley has sicked sense of humor and I love the inventive ways she gets rid of the bad guys. I highly recommend this series and am looking forward to the rest of it.

Avi and Felix

Another great addition to this series. Onley James writes a great dark sex filled MM romance. it's been interesting to see how each brother finds their forever person. Liam DiCosimo does such a good job bringing these books and ALL of the characters to life. He is the perfect narrator for this series. can't wait for the next in the series.

Second half of the Murder Twins

I'll admit I actually waited a long time to get to this book. I thought Felix would be too much, and I wasn't sure if I'd like him or not. To continue the series however I felt like I needed to get to it. I actually really loved it. There was a lot of humor. Avi is Asa's mirror twin, so for how aggressive Asa was with Zane - Avi is the opposite with Felix. I loved their dynamic, Avi is so funny. Felix was not too much, and really complimented Avi, was terrific with the rest of the family. There were some hilarious scenes with the entire family together. Just really enjoyable story and audio. I loved it.

Better and Better!

This book overlaps with the previous book and follows the other twin, Avi and his relationship with Felix. This book bring other characters out of "hiding" so the readers can get to know them a bit better as their stories might happen later. Avi and Felix are great. Felix is tough and hard and soft and vulnerable. Out of all the Mulvaney's Avi is probably the best match with Felix as he is more patient then his brothers and does what he can to win over Felix. It is a dark and twisty tale like the others, but there feels like something "more" is there. Maybe it's a weird tenderness? I love how this details a lot of what happens in the previous book in how Avi and Asa relate to each other and fills in those few gaps on the 2 different relationships. I never want this series to end!

I have read both the digital and audio versions of this book and the audio version is excellent. The narrator does an amazing job and is incredibly easy to listen to and doesn't distract away from the story at all. I enjoyed reading the digital copy I bought but for some reason the audio version just feels like "more."

Avi and Felix wreak havoc

Man these guys can make me laugh so hard and so loud. I loved Avi and Felix. I loved their dynamic and how different it is to the other brothers. I loved the bonds they created and how this family gets along. The plot was new and exciting and interesting. The writing is wonderful. This series is just the best. I love the dark humor so much and it makes you feel all the feels,, the range is remarkable. The narrator does a fantastic job at bringing this family to life.

Onley has done it again!

It’s not every day you find an author who can release one phenomenal book after the other, yet somehow I’ve hit the jackpot and found Onley’s Necessary Evils series earlier this year. Her characters have me wrapped around each of their fingers and her storytelling has me craving more. Onto Lunatic now!
