About this listen

Luciano Vitale.
Cruel. Heartless. Ruthless.
A criminal. A monster. A murderer.

Belles and Mobsters were never meant to be together. And I still fell in love with him, only to be torn apart. Lesson learned.

I escaped with nothing but the clothes on my back and my best friend at my side. We hid in plain sight, and started a new life.

Just as life became normal again, we were found. Dragged back into the underworld.

This time, the stakes are much higher. Failing is not an option.

If only he wasn't my demise.

Mobster book with a twist

Things I loved: Strong female character. She wasnt a doormat and could hold her own in so many ways. She was fiesty! I love that the male lead was the clueless one (blind to everything about his wife at least). I also loved that the main characters were introduced already married with flashbacks to their earlier relationship, it was a cute change of pace. I love the possessiveness of Luciano and his tight knit group of friends. I love that while the mafia kings were very capable, they still had limitations. Some books portray these characters as so comically powerful that they nearly have superpowers and this book kept it more realistic. I love the overall story of love and betrayal and cat/mouse game (although wish more time was spent on the ghost/king interactions). Narration was great, I didnt think about the narration ever which is a great sign that it didnt distract from the story.

Things I didnt love: how the capture scene didnt make sense. how did they have that much of a head start when the men were right behind them? I also wasnt a fan of the belle/mobster thing. It felt way too gimmicky. The author even wrote "this feels like we are in a bad movie scene" a few times. The premise could have been simple that the King family likes to buy girls from certain pedigrees by strong threatening/killing the families. The "ancestors agreement" background was corny and unnecessary. It was a "storybook" style that clashed with the rest of the book.

Story rating: 4/5
Spice: 3/5
Narrators: 5/5

So enjoyed this listen!

I've been meaning to pick up Ms.Winners's audiobooks and experience her stories again in audio format. As soon as i found out that this series was heading to audio i couldn't wait! I started looking forward this first audiobook right away. I started listening to it as soon as i could and got right back into the Belles & Mobsters world. I enjoyed this listen so much!

Having listened to both Lilly Drake and Walker Williams's narration before, it thrilled me to find out that these two were narrating this audiobook! Both Lilly and Walker pulled me right back into the Belles & Mobsters world! Through their narration, Lilly and Walker captured the intense, the frustrating, the pain, the unexpected, the steam, and the love as Grace and Luciano so wonderfully!

Grace and Luciano's journey once again captured my attention right from the very get go! Sometimes you can find someone that changes your heart, something Grace and Luciano know all too well when it comes to one another. Being ripped apart wasn't something either one counted on. Can Grace and Luciano overcome it all and fight to wind up together?

From the moment Grace and Luciano are brought into each other's lives i was into their story. It's far from easy for these two. There were so many moments that had me on edge. I admired Grace's strength and i wanted to talk to Luciano through my screen at times. The chemistry and connection between these two was so good and blushworthy. They both had me feeling so dang much from start to finish with this listen! I enjoyed getting to see how they would tackle everything between them and the danger lurking.

With Luciano, Ms.Winners has created such a good and dark story that had me feeling so much! I can always count on her writing to pull me in. From the narration to the story, this was such an awesome listen for me! I can't wait to dive back into this series with the second audiobook, Nico!

Luciano & Grace

Rating: 4.75 ⭐️
Spice: 2 🌶️

This book was pretty good. The only thing that made this not a 5 star was some of the things Luciano did. I loved Matteo’s character. He was so cute. I loved how he instantly latched on to Luciano ❤️❤️

Yowza!! It just doesn't get any better than this!

Luciano, an Audiobook by Eva Winners was a HUGELY fascinating, riveting, and romantic read!!! It’s the tumultuous story of Luciano and Grace. Though married, she hates him…and he despises her…because of things they did to one another. But, there are forces that threaten everything….

This mind-blowing, jarring, jaw-dropping read kept me reading non-stop until I finished!!! I HAD to see what happened with these two!! Written so that the emotions of all the characters jump from the pages!!! I was completely immersed in the myriad of twists and turns….and shocking revelations that occurred throughout!!! Absolutely FANTASTIC READ!!!

This Audiobook was excellently narrated by Lilly Drake and Walker Williams. Hard to believe that this superb book could be even better!!!! But, with the stand-out performances by these narrators, it is!!! Their interpretations of all of the characters was spot-on, and they beautifully reached all of the emotional levels of the characters, exactly as they should be!! Wonderful!!!

I am volunteering to leave a review for an Advance Listener Copy of this Audiobook.

I really liked it

This is my first book by this author but I'm really looking forward to reading/listening more from her. I really liked this book. I liked that the heroine fought back even though she was scared. I liked that she learned useful skills to survive

Well narrated

Good story line, with a few twists and not too many stilted tropes.
Very well performed with duet narration. Both voices were good portrayals of the main characters.
