These two narrators were so good. It’s the first time I’ve listened to them in this style it’s phenomenal!!

Loved this One!!!

Second chance romance with the hockey star. Trix is shocked to run into her ex who broke her heart when he chose hockey over her. Thinking she could have one night with him and walk way and leaving him wanting more would be the best revenge. The condom they used though, it was several years old...

I listened to this one and loved the new to me narrators Hannah Chiclana and Wesley Mercer. They brought the chemistry and banter to life.

Love You too is the second book in the Buttercup Hill series. It is a small town, second chance, accidental pregnancy, hockey romance. This one is a fast paced read full of the comforts of small town life, charm and the family feel. This was a fun smexy read with all the feels. I love how Ren was the first to fall for Beatrix. Their dynamic was heartbreaking at times but I love how it all came together in the end.

Hannah Chiclana and Wesley Mercer did a good job with this story and these characters.

Love You Too is the 4th book in the Buttercup Hill series, but I think it can definitely be read as a standalone. I love the small town and winery vibes of this series, but that may be because I am a wine girlie.

Beatrix is a strong and hardworking woman who has been extremely focused on her career at her family winery and resort. However, her life gets shaken up when she runs into her college sweetheart, Dominick “Ren” Renaldi. Ren broke Beatriz’s heart when he chose hockey over her when he went to the NHL, even though she was willing to leave school to be with him. His dog literally runs into her, and Ren takes her back to his place to show her the house he bought to remodel in her small town. The connection between them is still strong, and they end up having a one-night stand. Beatrix just wants it to be a one and done, but she offers to take care of his dog while he is traveling for hockey, and they start to text a lot.

Beatrix is still afraid to trust or try anything with him, but her life changes when she realizes she is pregnant. I loved how quickly she told Ren and how there was no miscommunication or drama around the baby. Ren really wanted to be with Beatrix, but he had to figure out the right balance since he always felt he needed 100% focus on hockey.

I really loved how sweet and swoony Ren could be and how he stepped up for Beatrix, especially when it’s revealed how long he wanted her back. One of my favorite scenes was when he shaved her since her belly was getting too big. I love caretaking scenes.

🎧 Audiobook Review 🎧

I was so happy I was able to listen to this audiobook and discover some new narrators. Hannah Chiclana and Wesley Mercer did an amazing job with this sweet second chance romance. They brought the characters to life and could feel the chemistry and connection of the characters.

Voices blend well

I enjoy an accidental pregnancy book and this one delivers with a hefty dash of second chances.

Trix and Ren definitely had their ups and downs trying to figure out their future and what it would look like with their busy schedules and their past breakup emotions. Ren made up for the fact that he handled their college breakup so poorly and i loved seeing them work thru their past baggage. The emotional and sweet plus steamy ride this book took us on was great.

The narrators did such a good job bringing that tension and emotional punch that Stacy wrote to life. I thought both voices fit the characters well!

Ren come back after years, and playing in the NHL and seeing his ex girlfriend who he broke her heart thinking she was a distraction and he needed to focus on his game. Beatrix is a workaholic and focusing on her job only and her family shee see her ex and well one night and it only took for her to see two lines on a pregnancy test now she has to tell Ren and well surprised they start spending time together everyrhing ia going great, until he in a away games that he distance himself from Beatrix and again he foing to repeat the atoey until his coach talk to him to hwt his head out of his asß. when Beatrix is rushed to the hospital Ren runs home to be with hwr and apologize for being an asßhol.

Sweetness oh so sweet

A sweet small-town family romance with a bit of hockey iced in. As a couple, they are cute; I loved their history and how it all played out. I kind of wished there was a bit more of it, actually. A great addition to the Buttercup Hill series.

I consumed by audio and think the production and narrators were great.

Stacy Travis pens another wonderfully entertaining novel set in her “Buttercup Hill” series, a small town second chance sports romance that captivates your attention and tugs at your heartstrings, too. This is the fourth book of the series is Beatrix “Trix” Corbett and Dominick “Ren” Renaldi’s story, a story that stands on its own, though you will see characters from earlier books and knowing their backstory and the backstory of the Buttercup Hill Vineyard adds depth to the story. That said, everything you need to know is in the details so you will never feel lost or like something is missing. It has been ten years since Ren broke Trix’s heart, breaking up with her to pursue a professional hockey career. Trix has done well for herself since then, became a career woman, wearing several hats, including her designer hat and running the family businesses. He would be the last person she wanted to see and is wondering why he is back in Buttercup Hill, never mind why he bought property there, too. In a small town she was bound to run into him, but the run-in she had been one for the books, thanks to Truman, Ren’s dog, and adding to that was what spilled out of her mouth. Clearly, the chemistry between them did not fizzle out, and it did not take long for them to give in to their desires, but Trix was hesitant to give him her heart again, since he broke it in the past. Then the unthinkable happened, something unplanned, an unexpected pregnancy, and while both handled the news well, though her insecurities left her with no expectations of what he would do. It was great to watch these two navigate their relationship, their careers, and rekindle their love for one another. This fabulously plotted story is entertaining, a charming romance that warms the heart and puts a smile on your face.

🎧📚🎧 Hannah Chiclana and Wesley Mercer did a fabulous job bringing the characters to life and humanizing them. Their character voices were fitting to their character’s personality and their portrayal of each was spot on, with Chiclana nailing it as Trix and Mercer doing the same as Ren. Both were just as fabulous performing the roles of the secondary characters, too. They set the perfect tone for the story, captured all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling each one. These entertaining storytellers are versatile voice artists and a pleasure to listen to. Thank you for this great listen.

Amazing Second Chance Romance

💭It's good to be back to Buttercup Hill! This time, we follow Trix as she reconnects with her old flame, Ren. After he broke her heart years ago, Trix didn't just sit around feeling sorry for herself. Instead, she threw herself into her career and became super successful, though maybe a tad too much of a workaholic. I really love that our FMC didn't let heartbreak keep her down and kept pushing forward.

Now, Ren was a bit hard for me to warm up to at first. I mean, he chose his hockey career over Trix, which was pretty rough. But hey, he was young and chasing his dreams, so I kinda get it. Thankfully, he totally redeems himself when he finds out about the oopsie baby. He knows he's got a lot of making up to do to earn back Trix's trust, and he doesn't shy away from it.

✅This is one of the better accidental pregnancy books I've read recently. Ren is ready to step up immediately, and he grovels his way to earn Trix’s forgiveness. The only tiny thing that bugged me was that Ren wasn't always the best at communicating, and that frustrates me. But he totally made up for it with that grand gesture at the end, it was so sweet, and I absolutely loved it!

Trix & Ren!!

For her he told himself as he could not give her the time she deserved and he needed all that time to be successful on the ice. Now years later a one night stand finds them attached forever. With feelings that never died, the two are destined for happiness, right? There are twists and turns in this fourth installment of the Buttercup Hill series! Each standalone story is amazing, and we get to see some of the previous characters crossover. It's fun, passionate, emotional, all the things I enjoy in a story. Trix worried that the past will repeat itself and Ren lacking the confidence in himself to handle life, this is realistic and an amazing listen.

Hannah Chiclana and Wesley Mercer are fabulous together. Bringing this emotional story to life needs talent to bring out the feels, delve into the heart and make them ready to love. Both of these narrators brought out all the feels and had me invested in the outcome. Loved their performance!
