About this listen

The things I've lost could shatter any man.

Send him on a downward spiral.

I would've punched my own ticket if it weren't for the Satan's Knights. Instead, I became the VP of the Knightdale Charter.

A man can't drown in his misery when he's got responsibilities. So I look for things to dull the pain.

Sex. Drugs. Whatever. When you've been to hell and back, the only time worth having is a good one. My little Birdie knows this self-destructive path, too. That's why I can't stay away from her.

The highs are higher when you don't fly alone.

But I'm not the only ghost in her life, and her past isn't letting her go. I thought my club was the only thing left for me to love.

It turns out I was wrong.

Love Is Blind

Love Is Blind is the second book in The Satan's Knights MC North Carolina series. This book is about Birdie and Ghost. They both have to overcome so much. But in the end, they come together with a stronger love. I loved this book. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

Sarah Puckett and Michael Norman Johnson did a fabulous job narrating this book.

Ghost & Birdie

Ghost is simply existing after a tragic loss. What keeps him going is his club the Satan Knight's. Birdie has been blind since she was a teenager but she doesn't let it stop her from living her life. Running from her past, she ends up staying with her cousin Emma. One night while sitting at the bar where Emma bartends, she sidles up next to a surly Ghost. For some unknown reason to Ghost, he is intrigued with the outspoken Birdie. When they leave together, they agree to only one night, but fate has a different plan for them. Their love story is trying at times but Birdie brings color into Ghost's dark life and he is someone she can finally trust on their way to a well deserved HEA.

Great narration by Michael Norman Johnson and Sarah Puckett.

Another Great Addition to the Series!

This is the second book in The Satan's Knight's MC North Carolina. This is an interconnected series, with an ongoing plot. This series is captivating! Ghost and Birdie's story is fast-paced, entertaining, and passionate. They are both interesting characters. The supporting characters are great. Sarah Puckett and Michael Norman Johnson did a great job bringing these characters, and this story to life. I enjoyed it. Looking forward to listening to Ashes to Ashes, the third book in the series. I HIGHLY recommend this series.

Life In Color

Ghost has had a hard life and has tried to dull the pain with all the wrong ways. Birdie has had a run of bad luck. Ghost deserves to find happiness even if he doesn’t think it’s possible. My only complaint was it ended too soon (it is a complete book but I definitely wanted more of these characters who overcome so much together).

Enjoyed the story again with the great narration.

Ghost was such a gruff, self-hating, yet caring biker. My heart hurt for what he had gone through. Along came Birdie, a spunky and strong, blind woman who brought light into his life. I loved their interactions in public and in private along with all the secondary characters. They both had pasts to overcome, and Ghost was so protective once he claimed her, and I enjoyed the story. I recommend this story, and I look forward to more in this series.

I had a chance to listen to the audiobook. The story was brought to life by Sarah Puckett and Michael Norman Johnson. They did a wonderful job with the different characters and added more to the story.

Love is blind but brings color

Ghost's story was so emotional in the last book, and I'm so glad he got a great love. Birdie was a big surprise for Ghost, but maybe fate had a play. The typical MC mayhem, danger, suspense, and love are all present. I really enjoyed this story and wanted so much more of these two. Narrators were terrific.

Amazing Story & Narration🎧Riveting & Emotional!

I am loving this series and the MC world Janine Infante Bosco created, and as much as I would like to say the series is getting better and better that would not be fair to say since the first book, “Forsaking All Others” was just as amazing as this one. This book is Ghost, the club’s vice president & Birdie’s story and not only is their story an interesting one, but so are their back stories, which we learn as the two get to know each other. Ghost is struggling with loss, a loss that is difficult to move on from, but then she enters his life and brings him out of his darkness. Birdie is on the run from her own jaded past and came to stay with her cousin Emmy, who is a bartender where Birdie goes on her first night in town. Ghost is sitting at the bar drowning his sorrow when she catches his attention, and it turns out to be one of the best first meet scenes. The two hit it off and spend the night together, and it was a steamy night. His past comes back to haunt him in the morning and that put a damper on things, and he almost blows it with Birdie, but she gets him and as hard as it was to put her trust in another person, she did. Birdie has her own secrets and dark past, and Ghost is determined to find out what it was and get who hurt her. I loved how everything played out in this book, and like the first book, the writing, plot, and world building are fantastic, as are the character growth and development. The story captivated my attention from start to end and has the perfect balance of drama, angst, heartfelt emotions, and steamy romance. It was great to see the characters from the earlier books and I am looking forward to what comes next for the Satan’s Knights MC North Carolina. Janine Infante Bosco, thank you for another amazing story and emotional rollercoaster ride.

🎧📚🎧 Michael Norman Johnson and Sarah Puckett continue to do an amazing job of bringing these characters to life and do so with a complete understanding of who they are portraying. I love how they take each role and make it their own sounding believable and just as I imagined the characters to sound. Johnson absolutely nails it as Ghost, alpha-tude and all, and Puckett aces it as Birdie, wit and all, each showcasing their character’s personality and demeanor perfectly. Their pacing is spot on and they set the perfect tone for the story, capture all the characters’ emotions and had you feeling each one. These entertaining storytellers are a pleasure to listen to and their performance elevates this already fabulous story to another level. Thank you for another exceptional listen.

Life in Color

Reed "Ghost" McCall may be morose on many occasions, but he cracks me up with his brand of don't give a 💩. I swear his spirit animal is Eyeore on steroids.

Birdie Callahan experiences life a little differently than most. I like how she doesn't let her disability hold her back from experiences. She does need to work on her pickup lines and jokes, though. LOL!

I love how protective Ghost gets. He's well intended, even if missing the mark a little on occasion. He's like a dog exposing his belly to her while the rest of the world gets teeth and snarls. It's kinda funny.

I really enjoyed this but wish there was more to it. It all seemed to pass by too quickly.

I received an author's copy of the audio book. This is produced in DUET narration! (The best kind if you ask me.) The narrators are Sarah Puckett and Michael Norman Johnson, and they make listening to this book VERY easy.
