Excellent story telling
The narrator for this story was PERFECTION. The music, the sound effects, the whole production….amazing. HIGHLY recommended for all ages!

Halloween entertainment for all kids of all ages
Would you listen to Los Gatos Black on Halloween again? Why?
Again and again and not just on Halloween. The combination of velvety voice, sound effects and music is marvelous.
Who was your favorite character and why?
The fantasy story itself with all it's lushly embroidered detail was my favorite character.
What does Maria Conchita Alonso bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
She brings you right into the middle of the monstrous spooky night! Whispering and howling and all the wonderful emoting. I love it!
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
I like the comic relief after the suspenseful, creepy build-up.
Any additional comments?
The story is wonderfully written and very clever. It was nice to have a few words from the author herself after the story. The illustration from the hard copy capture the mood of the story, and this audio book narrator further fleshes it out for the reader. Truly remarkable and beautifully rendered in audio book. I'll recommend it to friends and family for Halloween parties and sleepovers. The kids and grown ups alike love this one.
