Needs accurate chapter numbers and breaks

Great book, but I’d love to see the audio book actually have real chapter breaks instead of “chapters” that are actually composed of multiple chapters.

Simplifies that which was never meant to be difficult 

I love how this book is practical and yet encourages us to take seriously the devotion we have to Jesus Christ.

This book took hold of my heart and asked me questions I didn’t know I needed to ponder.

I cannot recommend this book enough. This is one of Eugene Peterson’s best and most essential works.

I really appreciate the well organized way this book is written but more so the simple realities it illustrates for us as believers that turn out to be quite profound.

Thought-provoking

Peterson gives a thoughtful and thought-provoking look at what it means to live for Jesus for the long haul. How is it done? How do Christians grow in their faith as they are discipled and disciple others? It is done through scripture and prayer in their lives. That's the heart of it.
