Delicious and fun

I absolutely loved the narrative and the story, romantic and wonderful D&E story that starts with an unlikely deception and grows true love.

Loved this PPV!

The story is engaging and made me laugh out loud in some places. I loved hating this Lady Catherine and Darcy was true to Austens hero!

A Frolicking Improbable Romp w/Annoyances

I did enjoy this Variation - mostly. As noted by other reviewers, I really disliked Col Fitzwilliam’s disregard and joking about his cousin’s predicament and the Matlocks position re: Lady Catherine and Darcy’s stance toward Elizabeth until he discovers the truth about her family. But for the lovely holiday and the growing warmth between D&E and all their dialogue I was very impressed. Also liked the Original situation the author put Anne in as I quite thought the problem along the lines of Darcy and Richard. Also, I think the author developed the character of Darcy from Arrogant Prig to quite delightfully clueless and sweet with Elizabeth was extremely well done. Stevie Z was just Fabulous, as always.

I love it

I really love the story. I've always enjoyed Miss Zimmerman's narrative, as I did on this occasion as well but chapter 16 is missing. The story jumps from chapter 15 to chapter 17.

A Fun JAFF Twist

Don’t let the cover art scare you away.

Without giving too much away, Darcy is alerted too late that a plot is in place to find him in a compromising position, aided by a doctored drink meant to make him fall asleep only to find a young lady in his bed in the morning. He is barely able to stagger out of his London Townhouse, dressed in disguise, before passing out on the street. This begins a roller coaster of events and misconceptions as he fights to regain him name, while not being able to tell anyone who he really is.

Stevie Zimmerman once again using her skills to bring all of the characters to life is the icing on this delicious cake.

Nicole Clarkston is a favourite JAFF author. Loved this book and Stevie Zimmerman always pleases. A delightful read. Highly recommend.
