Good stories, bad reader

I must say I liked the first 2 stories but I finally gave up listening to them. The reader's continually mispronunciation became so blatant that I couldn't take it any more. He needs a lot more practice. I'm picking up Gray Lanter's books so I can read them without Steve White's voice.

Suspend all disbelief

This series is for American guys who are military history buffs.

As I am none of the above, it did not appeal to me. It has females... all of whom are described in great detail and model beautiful, no matter their role. The main character is in charge of some paramilitary group that is “the best “ at everything. Space battles happen at really weird scales and distances. Lots of things are unknown about mysterious enemies... oh except for things that are oddly assumed and upon which the whole plot revolves.

It is clearly meant to be a hero saves the work while having adventures in space... and it is. I just couldn’t get past some of the holes in the universe building.

I received a free copy of the audiobook in exchange for a review.

Bad! Bad! Bad!

Worst narrator ever and bad ploting. I could not make it past the sexond chapter because of horrible narration but even in the first two chapters there were character issues. in the second chapter they introduce the Cajun Astrophysicist who then states he doesn't know he is not an astrophysicist and then proceeds to talk about astrophysics.
