Unless it’s required reading, just rent the movie
Despite the different narrators, for the first many chapters it took some effort to get all the sisters straight. The only one I could picture was Winona Ryder as Jo.
The story was predictable, but it was mildly entertaining. I didn’t really like the characters so that made the book more realistic.

Loved it!
I have seen 1 or 2 movies of this book and never realised how much of a gem this book is!
My absolute favourite part was that the girls liked to enact The Pilgrim’s Progress, which happens to be one of my favourite books too.
This books is so beautifully written and the reader feels part of the family and the adventure straight away.
I want to give my that and and appreciation to the author and all the narrators involved in this production!

A classic performed with vivacity and clarity
The performance of this classic novel made listening lively and enjoyable. The story contains many lessons and gems still applicable to life in the 21st century whilst taking the reader on a delightful trip into a bygone era.

You know the story
l always love a good story and I've read it many times and saw the movie. Now i listened to a new cast of voices. Very well done...I would have changed Laurie to a younger voice but the others were spot on!
