About this listen
As a lieutenant colonel, Ryck is given command of the Second Battalion.
With the Marine Corps anxious to certify the resurfaced concept of integrated operations units, the battalion is thrown right into the fire.

Good story
This story reminds me of the time honored traditions and history that makes our military members proud of their service and remember the sacrifices of their fellow servicemen. I see how Rick, like many great leaders, feels responsible for the losses of those he commands. Sometimes it is hard to understand how one Soldier or Marine lives, while another dies. And this story shows one Marine’s journey through life. Great story.
