The social lifestyle was far the most interesting
Wanted to learn some phrases but mote time was spent on societal information which was actually more helpful than trying to learn the language. The tutors were too talkative and some lessons totally not on target. I picked the wrong course but learned a lot about the culture and that was actually most useful. No real need to speak dutch, everyone speaks English but the food and customs- that was helpful but dated..as in sports and cultural icons.

Quality Dutch intro
I have used every one of Innovative Language Learning’s German Language series (I’ve passed both Goethe C1 and TELC C1), and found them useful. Some of the books I have listened to over 50 times each over the past 2-3 years, since I play them over and over as I do household chores, shower, etc.
This Dutch audiobook was good, in that the speakers speak slowly (unlike many of Innovative Language Learning’s Spanish audiobooks), and it had standard intro material. It had a lot of cultural filler info that I could have done without, but I can accept that the first audiobook contains such info. Hopefully the next ones in the series move into dialogues, which I found very useful in their German series.
