It would appear that, after two years of relative slacking, the Hero of Chaos is once again facing an ever-growing workload. Boxxy had been quite fortunate to obtain an exceptionally potent pawn with very little effort, but that was still effort it did not intend to expend. Sensing it might get dragged into things it really doesn't want to bother with, the creature makes haste to depart Velos and its orcs so that it may continue its private preparations for the upcoming Dragon Festival. Of course, it's never that easy. First, it has to make good on a deal it made to babysit not one, not two, but three spoiled brats. Normally it would just refuse, or at the very least just lock them up in a dungeon somewhere. Unfortunately, neither of those are attractive options when this job involves the deceitful shapeshifter's natural enemy—the Holy Inquisition of the Goddess of Truth and Justice, headed by Teresa's latest chosen Hero, Sigmund Law.

Boxxy really doesn't want to deal with any of that. It's got treasure to plunder, Levels to grind, and a bottomless pit of a belly to fill, to name a few things on its agenda. Aside from having better things to do, the very idea of this bothersome chore runs contrary to its monstrous instincts, not to mention it's absolutely nonsensical. What sort of weirdo thinks a wolf in sheep's clothing is the best candidate to look after three little pigs? The God of Uncertainty, that's who. It's a rare order from the big kettle himself, and Boxxy must comply or find itself stripped of the divine gifts that are vital to maintaining its public image. Between suffering through this inane task for the time being or watching its nation-spanning web of lies unravel, the choice is obvious. So, for better or worse, the industrious box gets busy figuring out how to squeeze 'babysitting' into its schedule.

Only to have those plans instantly shatter when it returns home to find the place in ruins.

I like it

I like the book but there are two things I don't particularly like not major things but the first thing is the ending it's not a spoiler I just don't like it

considering the whole series and everything the leader of the Inquisition tells his new recruit or new enough after a explanation and keep in mind this guy

does not know her in any way and he tells her that she's gay it's not for someone let alone a stranger to tell someone

their sexual preference this goes for the book outside in reality something for people to discover on their own and it shouldn't

be influenced and with this book it could be literally any other reason considering she went to that place and considering who the main

character is the other thing I didn't much like in this particular book is I think they went a little too heavy on the sound effects which I do normally like it does

give the book a little something more but in this one it almost muddied the performance a little too much still giving it full

marks but if the sound effects were a little heavier probably would have given it a three star review

outstanding as always. I can't wait till the next one comes out later this year. one of the best LitRPG book series out there.

Good as usual

Another great book on the series that continues the adventures of boxxy and company. If you liked the previous books you will like this one as well. Its funny and enjoyable all the way through.

Great series

Well done by soundbooth, and I love the authors flow throughout the series. I will be sad to see this one end!

You've made it this far

If you're looking at this then you know. It's amazing series, with amazing voice actors. Only thing that surprises me is how the author hasn't had any dip in quality in any of their books in this series.

Best Book yet!

This book was a total page tuner of a book! The action with the avatar of Erin was so cool and the way Boxxi can make plans on the fly, the team working in beautiful harmony, and the back up plans makes the fight scene so well written and really fun to read. I love the epilog with the subordinate finding out she's gay. I found that super adorable and I audibly went "SHES GAY!", while next to my significant other. Oh and the emotional whiplash of the Hilt tree arc? Amazing as well! I also almost shed real tears for Rowana and Cora it was so well done. The production value of these books with all the talented narrators and well placed music make this an absolute treat to read! I am so glad I found the audio book first so I get to hear all these talented people bring these characters to life with how much emotion they can bring when needed. The background music is also always a treat to hear in the fight scenes or to make an emotional scene more impactful. The sound effects are also top notch and make the wait inbetween releases so worth it. Well it's worth it anyways but it's like a cherry on top a sundae worth it! I can not wait for the next book but I'm so sad it's going to be the last one. This series should easily have at least 3 more books worth of content depending on how the next book goes. But I love these characters so much I can't imagine not hearing about their next adventure after this book!

Love this series

I absolutely love this series and its characters. The actors are so amazingly talented and truly bring the story to life.

Always a pleasure!

Only problem with this one is the length. Great story! Glad we got back to Boxey getting back to basics. Sooooo looking forward to the next in the series.

Another fine addition to the series

Neven Iliev and Soundbooth Theater have done it again. I love this series, and this is another great book that doesn’t disappoint. As General Grevious said, “This will make a fine addition to my collection!”

More of the same greatness from this series.

If you liked the other 9 books in the series, you will love this one too. As always the cast does an excellent job at narrating this book.
