Story

Story
It was 1970 in a defeated Rhode Island fishing town. Vietnam and Nixon dominated the national news. Both the near and distant future looked bleak. But they were five inseparable high school friends with something incredible in common: an unwavering resolve to look after each other no matter what hell life threw at them. And they were on a mission. The plan was simple: Go off the grid before they turned 18 to avoid the draft. They’d sell some grass, stack some cash, then head west and start a commune. What could possibly go wrong?

Story
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Waste of time and credits.
My worst experience on audible so far. The story is very boring, badly written, with lots of repetitions and unnecessary details that just took up time, but added nothing to the story. The second part of the book got a bit better, with some action and weak plot twists , which earned the book 2 stars instead of one. The presentation was even worse: monotonous, robotic and slow reading that I ended up switching to 1.25 speed to make it more bearable. The only reason I didn’t quit; no credits and lots of driving.
