Me maravilla la manera en que esta novela incluye con tanta precisión la historia de México, al grado que logró hacerme dudar que se tratara de una historia de ficción. Me ha encantado vivir las emociones y sentimientos de Leonarda/Emilia en toda su historia. Hace mucho que un libro no me emocionaba tanto. No conocía a la autora antes de este libro, pero sin duda me he convertido en fan.
