About this listen

Royal Treatment

Aaron “King” Arthur dedicated his life to the Kings of Men MC. He created a brotherhood and promised a safe haven for his club brothers. When one of his men comes to King with news that the feds are planting an undercover agent in the club, King decides to play a game of chicken with their little rat. King pushes at the agent’s personal boundaries, using sex as a carefully honed weapon, but doesn’t expect the federal agent to respond so eagerly.

Tool for the Men in Blue

Dallas Mickelson spent so many years undercover with motorcycle clubs that he’s starting to lose his real identity. When he’s sent to pose as a prospect by the name of Austin Smith in the Kings of Men MC, he doesn’t expect to enjoy the thrill of being one of the boys. The infamous King isn’t what Dallas imagines, and he makes Dallas’s body react in ways he’s never felt before.

Deadly Games Become More

King has his own set of problems outside of this unpredictable fed, from past secrets coming to light, to his 40th birthday quickly approaching. The last thing he needs is to feel emotions he’s never experienced before, especially for someone who could bring down the illegal empire he’s worked so hard to build. Dallas has a job he’s expected to finish, but he’s not so sure he wants to do it anymore, and the decisions he makes can shape everyone’s future - for better or worse.

King's mate

I loved King's interactions with Darcy and couldn't stop laughing. Forrest is quite the little schemer and manipulator, and I enjoyed his snark. King as a dad is a priceless and enlightening experience. When King told Hunter the truth my heart broke for Hunter and I empathized with him. Hunter and Forrest were like day and night opposites, and I enjoyed each equally. This book was so much harder to listen to than reading it, when Timmy boy unleashed his wrath and hate on Dallas! I was beyond crushed and shattered, and found myself doing the ugly cry even though I already knew the outcome. This narrator was a perfect fit for Aaron's character and brought him to life brilliantly. O'Neil was such a sore loser and laughable. I'm still disappointed in Dallas's family's reactions. Smh. This us a definite relisten for me. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review.

King's Undercover Fed

Even before Dallas goes undercover with his latest assignment, he is fighting not only the locals but the burn out of the job. As he begins the latest assignment, he does not realize that King knows who and what he is from the start. Soon Dallas finds himself wanting things that he should not and fighting hard to do the job without giving in.

Dallas and King have chemistry right from the start and no matter how they try to fight it the chemistry is not going away. I enjoyed the way their relationship developed and the hard decisions that the men must make. Will they and can they follow their heart or are their worlds to far apart? It was nice to see the way the men in the club stand by each other and are willing to do whatever is needed to keep the members safe. Dallas is at a crossroads in his life and he finds that the safest place for him may just be at King’s side. Narrator Andrew Ladd moves the story along at a good pace, but I was not fond of many of the voices that he uses for the characters in this story.

enjoyable

I'm not usually much for biker gang books. But this one's good. The narrator's voice is very deep and kinda gravely which is perfect for this story. He also does a good job of differentiating the voices.

Steamy and Action packed!!

This is book 6 in the series and can be read as a standalone though I definitely recommend reading this in the series order to get acquainted with the world building and the characters who will be appearing in previous books of the series.

I have been absolutely excited for Kings story and so happy he fell for Dallas.
This was literally my favorite book in the series.

The narrator did a great audio delivery as well.
Definitely recommend this entire series!!

Best one yet!

This is my favorite Kings of Men MC book by far. I love that King falls for someone, especially the last person he’d ever expect, and I think Dallas is good for him. I think this book has the most humor of the series so far as well.

I have not listened to any of the other books on audio, so I can’t make any comparisons there, but I think this narrator did a good job with the story - he was easy to understand and did well with the voices and storyline. His voice did take me a bit to get used to, as it is kinda deep and gravelly, but once I did I enjoyed the book immensely.

The narrator was awesome! He became King!

This is my first audiobook review. I think the narrator did a magnificent job on this awesome story. His voice is perfect for King. He also handles the other voices well. Aaron Arthur discovers that a federal agent was placed in his Biker gang. Instead of killing with him, he plays games instead.

Dallas (Austin) Mickelson was an excellent agent. Unfortunately, he went so deep undercover that he creates a different persona. He lost a part of himself each time he went undercover. As a potential prospect for the Kings, Dallas has trouble doing what he is told to do, but as time moves on, he becomes the prospect.

The two suffer for their relationship, but it works out. I love this story and will listen to other books by these authors.

loved it

I loved this book. Andrew Ladd's voice really brings this story to life. Aaron Arthur (King) is the president of the Kings of Men MC. He created a safe place for his club family. King faces many obstacles and doesn't need a Undercover Fed to ruin all he's worked for. King pushes Austin Smith to his limits but he doesn't crack. King plays a deadly game of cat and mouse. Dallas Mickelson has spent many years as a undercover taking down motorcycle clubs like the Kings of Men MC. Dallas is sent in as a prospect but never expects to feel at home there. Dallas feels like he's loosing himself to Kings charms. Will Dallas turn on the Kings or will he choose to protect them? Will Dallas choose King?

King's Fed

This is my first audio book and I have already read the book beforehand. The overall listening experience is awesome and enhanced my own reading. I was drawn by the voices portraited to Aaron the King and Dallas. I think they truly brought out who the characters are for Aaron and Dallas. The voice for Aaron is stern. firm, deep and rough yet filled with passion and care.. The voice for Dallas is subtle, tender but solid and steady. I already enjoyed the storyline of these two so listening to it brought out details I missed when I read the book. Well done and now I am attached to the audio books esp. for books i already read and now wanted to listen to them.

King's Undercover Fed

King's Undercover Fed is book 6 in The Kings of Men MC series. I love this book. I love how King does what he wants and worries about the consequences afterwards. Dallas didn't go into his current undercover position thinking he'd find a man for himself but that's what ended up happening. And no matter how King played with him, Dallas didn't give up. He took whatever King gave him. King finally found someone for himself even though he knew who Dallas was from the moment he wanted the join The Kings of Men. I loved watching King and Dallas interact with each other. I definitely recommend this book and series.
It was different having a new narrator do this book in the series but Andrew Ladd does a good job.
