Short look at English history

This is a funny satirical "re-telling on English political history by way of finger puppets. The narrator seasons their reading with just the right blend of sarcasm and sincerity.

Delightful tale!

I loved this throwback to a kingdom! It's very funny to listen to Emelle's wonderful take on it. She does a great job with the jokes and humor written in. A perfect length tale! :)

Ridiculously cute

Although I knew they were finger puppets, the lines were blurred because the individual puppets themselves had distinct personalities. I enjoyed the "reveal" of the dull-armored knight and finding redemption for each character. Yes. It's a "children's" story but, as is noted at the very beginning, it is definitely meant for adults because of the deeper meanings and the very grown-up relationships between the puppets. The narration was immediately captivating and had a terrific pace. This story (as it was being told) had me smiling hard and occasionally chuckling out loud.

Funny!

This is a fun little short! It's more absurdist than anything. If you like Yorgos Lanthimos and his work, you're going to like this. Bodroghy gives us 'insightful' fun little characters while poking fun at the political climate and illusion of democracy. It's silly enough to be entertaining, and satirical enough to keep you engaged. The narrator's voice was great as well; you can practically hear the sarcasm in her voice in this twisted vaudevillian tale.
