I love these characters already... The brotherhood these guys have, plus former military.. You will swoon for them all!

the story line is great. the characters were well written. you can follow kincaid and emalyn. their love is brought to fruit with well written prose. keep writing and producing great books. the narration was great also. well read.

Awesome story. Though be aware of possible triggers. From the moment Emmalyn and Kincaid meet, it’s immediate sparks. They have to learn to trust each other. Though it’s the first time Emmalyn feels safe and protected. A true heart warming tale

Although I understood Emmalyn’s terrible life now SNAP OUT OF IT!
Diego was a perfect gentleman and was accused of all manner of unspeakable things….
Bunny was a psychopath and Em was ridiculous when it came to this skank…
When all is said and done, I say keep Diego and lose the weird women. 🥰

Emmalyn and Diego/Kincaid

This was an enjoyable book. I really liked Kincaid and how he went on missions to rescue trafficked people. He saved Emmalyn from an abusive husband when he sees him beating her. He ends up wanting her for himself. There was a club woman who wanted Kincaid and tried to cause trouble by showing up in his bed. The ending is good but I expected more with the couple. I am glad that there are other books in the series available on Audible and I hope that this couple appears in them. Kasha Kensington and Aaron Shedlock did a great job with the narration.

Loved the book but…

The female narrator was irritating. Every sentence ended like she was either asking a question or trying to make every sentence super steamy. It ruined it for me. Glad I started the book before switching to the audible. I wouldn’t have been able to read it without hearing the way she read it.

Goodness, this is sexy!

I read the book on KU and loved it so much when I finished it I bought both the book and the audio. Putting a voice to Diego makes his character so much more sexy. Kasha and Aaron gave perfect depictions to the characters of Em and Diego. Excellent job on the voice artists and Marie James created such an incredible world for these extra hot and surprisingly compassionate characters.

Couldn’t put it down

Loved the story line! It kept you on your seat while listening and was beautifully written. Loved this one and the readers voices were really good.
