Sequel is just as good as the first book

This book was an absolute delight. Billie and the girls ride again! Don’t think about it, just read it.

Phew! What wild ride with these four fabulous “necessary monsters” ….a phenomenal follow up to book one.

Satisfying

I could hardly wait to download this sequel by Deanna Raybourn that I preordered after reading KOACA. It was a joy to revisit the characters and see them successfully complete missions and reunite with each other as they struggle with retirement, aging, love, relationships, and just to survive. Billie is my favorite grey heroine, both morally and physically. My question is, will they *really* retire? If you liked the movie "Red" you will enjoy this series about The Sphinxes. Just enough humor and emotion with the action and occasional gore.

Excellent plot well executed.

Interesting plot. Great characters. Complex layers. Another winner in this series. I will continue. Recommend her other books.

I like these tough old broads!

I liked the close unreachable relationships among the four killers. I liked that they were old but still formidable. The story was interesting but too a back seat to the camaraderie.

I loved the first in the series, Deanna Raybourn is a must buy for me. I enjoyed this, but the time shifts were problematic for listening. Perhaps it would have been better to read. I enjoyed the characters and the many settings
