Love the book, wish this were unabridged!
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I love the book and the series. I would have given 5 stars if it were unabridged.

Abridged, sadly
This series is one of my favorite ones. I've been reading it over and over again for over 20 years... so was thrilled to see it on audible, and then very sad to discover it's abridged. All the major story points are there, but all the lovely details have been removed. The narrator talks FASTER than pretty much every other narrator on audible, but once I got used to it I realized it was at the same speed I read, and as a result I found it easier to drop into that film in your head sensation I get from reading that is usually missing on audible.

WARNING!! This is abridged!!!
I didn’t realize that this was not the full book, and then I started noticing specific things that were very important that were missing and that was when I realized that it might be an abridged version. SO disappointing!! Why??? I highly recommend reading the full book, but if you have already read the book, then this narration could be pleasant on a road trip.

Anne McCaffrey was the best!
The crystal singer trilogy is so amazing. The 3 stories just draw you in period. Having read these multiple times they are quick read, but they're the best!
