About this listen

For anyone who loves cats, dogs, or both, James Patterson's most pawsome story ever is set in a society defined by the oldest rivalry in the world: katts versus doggs!

Oscar is a happy dogg - a rambunctious kid who loves being a Dogg Scout. Thanks to his family, he knows that snobby katts are good for nothing but chasing up trees.

Molly is a clever katt who just knows she's destined for fame and fortune as an actress. She comes from a family of well-bred katts who despise drooly, disgusting doggs!

For their whole lives, Oscar and Molly have been told that katts and doggs hate each other. One day, they each get hopelessly lost in the woods, but those lifelong prejudices flare up when they cross paths. Slowly, they realize the only way to survive and find their way home is to...work together?

Yeah, that's not going to happen!

Critic reviews

"Patterson and Grabenstein really work the notion here that cooperation is better than prejudice founded on ignorance and habit...A waggish tale with a serious (and timely) theme."—Kirkus Reviews

"This mash-up of farce, fable, and slapstick ultimately delivers a profound and relevant message."—Publishers Weekly

It’s okay

For one the nerrotor is way off with the voices their cartoons Oscars voice is to deep and cats spans to British it needs fixing they should be more high pitched

LOVE it like a cartoon!

This auto book was one word FUN! I was laughing and the story is so cute! Great for children or a family road trip. And Marc Thompson is a GREAT awesome voice actor. The voices he uses for this story were hilarious! Bravo!!
I was actually sad to see this story end but I was smiling every chance I got to listen to this story.
Once again Bravo to everyone who made this story possible!

Great narration and underlining meaning of the book!

My son and I really enjoyed this audiobook. It taught a great lesson about working together through our differences. The narrator was amazing and added a lot of entertaining voices to each character.

Definitely going to listen to more books narrated by him as well as books written by the authors.

Great narrator!

I laughed out loud at all of the voices Marc Thompson used in this book. I’ll search for more books narrated by him.

Meh...

Odd story. Narrator was great though. Not bad. Good for younger kids. Good lesson to take from it.
