Excerpt: Then he saw it. At first, it was just a disturbance, a rippling wake that churned and cleaved its way through the black expanse. It cut toward the dinghy with dreadful precision, its purpose unmistakable. The wind howled around him, flinging icy droplets into the glass walls of the observation deck, but Jackson barely noticed anything other than the drama unfolding before him. Something was coming for the men...something large...something alive.
