About this listen

What if Christ has already returned? The Second Coming of Christ has been "coming soon" ever since 1850, when John Nelson Darby popularized his brand of end times dispensational rapture theology. Many Christians today are unaware that the version of biblical prophecy they've been taught is not what the Church believed for the first 1,800 years. It's time to leave behind the "End Times" and discover an astounding truth - Christ has already returned and our participation is essential to making all things new.

If you or anyone you know is living life waiting for Jesus to appear in the clouds any moment, in the blink of an eye, this is a must-read. Rapture, left-behind, etc., is not Biblical and was not a part of the church until the year 1840 and perpetuated by the them popular Scofield Study Bible. Be educated in Truth, read Kieth Giles' book. He deals with every verse and thought about these topics. Well written in easy to understand concepts.

This book explains a lot of misconceptions about the end times. Churches who are not teaching these truths about scripture are short changing their congregants. I wish I had been taught to look at scripture from this viewpoint many years ago. Now that I know that many of the scriptures in the gospels, and much of Paul’s writings, were referring to the destruction of the temple, not the apocalypse, it makes so much more sense!

Very well researched!

The best reason to ditch your dispensationalist template before reading the Bible is that the Bible will make more sense afterward. I had a "crisis of faith" years ago, but it turned out to be a crisis of hermeneutics, not faith. So, I determined to read the Bible as it was written -- with no agenda. And if you will allow me the pun, what a revelation! Giles will help you deconstruct your dispensationalism. I'm telling you, you need to. Give Giles a hearing. The kingdom of God will make more sense if you do.
