Story
Have you ever wondered "Why did I do that?" or "Why can't I just control my behavior?" Others may judge our reactions and think, "What's wrong with that person?" When questioning our emotions, it's easy to place the blame on ourselves; holding ourselves and those around us to an impossible standard. It's time we started asking a different question. Through deeply personal conversations, Oprah Winfrey and renowned brain and trauma expert Dr. Bruce Perry offer a groundbreaking and profound shift from asking “What’s wrong with you?” to “What happened to you?”

Scientific, actionable, reassuring advice
I have not finished this book yet, but I’m a few chapters in and it is just as scientific, actionable and reassuring as It Starts with the Egg was. The information is a lot, but if you take it in in small chunks you can take steps that help you feel empowered, more confident, and help you know you are making healthy decisions for your baby. The resources on the website are also incredibly useful!!! Thank you Rebecca for another wonderful resource! This is a great resource for those who have needed fertility treatment to conceive, but also those lucky enough to achieve natural conception.
