A unique take on learning from the best

This is a good book for those in the beginning phases of investing. A mile wide, inch deep kind of book, it covers several of the major financial events and crashes, but only enough information so you can hold a conversation about it.There was a lot of interesting facts in this book I had not read anywhere else before. The last chapter, which is about the author himself, is something special and the best story of them all. I highly recommend reading.

This audio-book should be listened in conjunction with great books like "Intelligent Investor by Benjamin Graham" and warren buffet books. It will greatly add to your knowledge. You will learn so much if you follow this approach.

Ultimate audio-book on investing!!

This audio-book was definitely a lot to digest and should be listened and re listened over time to reinforce and imprint the message. It's not going to be the audio-book that you listen and then go out and become a billionaire overnight its just going to introduce you to a way of thinking that could be different then what you are used to. This audio-book dives into the mentality of investors and how to take advantage of others pessimism towards the market with a buy/hold mentality.

This was a great book to take my first step into learning about investing. The book was thorough in the fundamentals of investments such as stock market terminology and ratio meaning and how to use those ratios to make a decision. I also found it useful going through the many types of investments that are out there, and going into enough detail for each one.The book presents a clear long term vision for owning stocks and other securities while avoiding the tricks, gimmicks, and "too good to be true" strategies that plague other books about securities.

Amazing Quality for Amazing Price

Very accessible and easy to read. Also (as with all Dummies books), you don't have to read from cover-to-cover. It's designed for you to be able to flip around to get the sections you really want to know more about. This should be a gift at every wedding reception, graduation, birthday, etc

Excellent book, including the commentary.

This is a great book for anybody who has any sort of self directed investments. This book will not teach you how to beat the market or make millions but what it will certainly do is help you approach investing from a rational point of view. this classic text will shed light on some basic concepts as well as the madness of crowds. This is a very worthwhile read for nearly anybody and its not overly technical.
