Poor production quality and stories that are short

This seemed like it would be interesting, but the there are 69 chapters in a 5 and 1/2 hour book. Each "story" is around 5 minutes. They really don't go into enough detail to make it interesting, they are all like teasers with a little bit of facts. I would have rather had a third of the stories with about 4 times the details so I would feel like I learned something. The production quality isn't that good either. They read the table of contents for like 6 minutes. They also repeated a story in 2 chapters, so the editor either screwed up, or they didn't record one of the chapters and just tossed one of the ones already read in there in hopes no one would notice.

Disappointed

Too short and brief stories lack appeal. Very little details and overall waste of time.

Nothing new here

If you watch the news , the history channel or the science channel you’ve heard it all before.
Waste of a perfectly good credit.

no...not again...not for me

I picked this because I thought it could be entertaining.
For me...it's droll...I wasted a credit

This is some basic bro stuff

Trivial, blah tales that are better suited for the back of a cereal box than under the title “Interesting Stories for Curious People”.

Spend your credit on another book. You’ll be happy you didn’t waste time on this one.

Good for elementary school kids

I thought these would be stories, not elementary school factoids. Not good for adults. Don’t waste your money.

Not Very Interesting

I still have 5 hours left of this book. I’s like to consider myself to be a pretty curious person but I couldn’t even last 5 minutes. This book is extremely boring and not interesting at all. Save your money!!!

Geared Towards 7th Graders

This book will be a waste of time and money for any reasonably well-educated and well-informed adult. The performance is fine; the content is not.
