So dark and twisted!

I asked to receive this free review Audible book and voluntarily wrote this unbiased review. Wow, these authors have written such a dark, twisted, and erotic mafia book. It will keep you on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next. There is definitely a lot of character development. Cora is a naive, isolated, and abused woman. When she meets Marcus she thinks he will be her savior. Marcus is a man that you love to hate. He is ruthless and doesn't seem to know how to love. On their wedding night, Cora learns a devastating secret. Cora is forced to learn how to survive in a deadly world of revenge. This book does end in a cliffhanger, but the next two books in the trilogy are out. The narrator does an amazing job of portraying the emotions of these characters. He gives the characters distinctive voices and brings their story to life.

Not only was the story entertaining, the narrators voice was so sexy! Really really added to the dark and erotic tone of the story 😍😍😍

Enjoyable Mafia story

Overall I enjoy this story. I personally only gave this book 4 stars because I didn't feel that it was a dark romance and I really this the story could have been better told from both POV. This is a first book in a series and it did a great job getting you hooked into the story and wanting more. This does end in a cliffhanger and it leaves you with some good questions for book 2. I do think overall the narrator did a good job with this story and found it at enjoyable listen.

Jaw Dropping!!💜

This book was exciting & angsty and and I can’t wait for more!!
So many jaw dropping moments. At one point I was so physically moved, I felt my heart beat just a little faster. What a wonderful feeling that a book can move me in such a way that I felt it deep inside.
Unexpected twists and turns like a roller coaster!!
The narration was absolutely amazing. Jack Calihan really captured each character and nailed them perfectly.
I would definitely recommend this book/series!!

Audiobook Obsession 💜

"ENTICINGLY DARK"

I loved this story. From the beginning, you were intrigued with the darkness of Marcus. I also loved Cora from the beginning, however, her naivety grows tiresome after a while. I think in the next book she'll have more of a backbone. I didn't appreciate a Mafia King would not check to see who is driving the car or his goons would not notice the takeover towards the end. It was quite unbelievable. The narrator was strange when delivering some of Cora's lines but it could be expected since he was reading both roles. All in all, I loved this book, the author, and the narrator.

Cora, innocent, vulnerable, abused, locked up in the house by her mother. Only to finally run away to the city, right into danger. This is where she meets Mafia king, Marcus Ubeti. Domineering, Dangerous, very handsome and sexy. He brings her into his dangerous world. Only he has the reason why he seduces her. He has a plan and she's only a chess piece in his plan or is she? He's not supposed to have feelings, but Cora is different. This story is dark, sexy dangerous, and has twists that I didn't see coming. This story by Stasia Black and Lee Savino will keep you on the edge of your seat. Jack Calihan is phenomenal in his narration. His voices and personalities for each character were spot on! His ability to transition from one character to the other is flawless. 🎧#audiobookobsessionreview🎧

I feel in love with this series… love Jack Calihan voice he dose an amazing job

Absolutely love these authors. In fact, Lee Savino is an author whose work I buy without reading the blurb. I really like the idea and concept behind this blurb but in the end I just didn't fall in love with it. The heroine wasn't my favorite, she was missing that something special. I liked the hero but overall I just couldn't get behind the story. The narrator couldn't hold my attention either.

I need more

OMG this book was amazing. Right from the beginning it sank it’s claws in me and made me hold on for dear life. This book was dark, drama, twisted, and oh so hot. Jack narrating this book made me feel like I was there watching the interaction between Marcus & Cora. I cannot wait for the next book.
