Great characters, cute storyline

I appreciated the character development, and also enjoyed that the physical descriptions weren’t as detailed as others. A lot of readers appreciate full detail but it usually throws me off as I try to match the image in my head with what’s been written.
The struggles were real and not overly dramatic, and the tattoo storyline was fun!

Stumbled across this little gem! New-to-me author, and I'm glad this is actually the second book of the Thorn & Thistle series. The writing is great, and the story has just enough chemistry and angst to keep the pages turning!

Jamie and Sierra have been low-key crushing on each other, but there are a few things standing in their way: age differences, obligations, relationship hang-ups. However, they can't seem to help themselves. Very heartwarming to see them overcome the obstacles.

The narrators did an excellent job!! 👏👏👏

Find time for your needs

Jamie is so consumed with taking care of everyone that she put her happiness last. Sierra doesn’t what a relationship for fear of losing someone again. They have an age difference between them which bothers Jamie. They work well together and seem to be the clam presence for each other. Great story and again hats off for the two narrators Virginia Rose and Carly Robins.

So incredibly relatable!

I absolutely loved this book! My childhood was also affected by alcoholic parents. It hit really close to home. I went from crying, to being enamored with the characters. Thank you so much for writing a book that made me feel like I was not alone. A book that reflected so much of my own life experiences. It really helped me to realize how important boundaries are and how I don't have to do things for people in order for them to like me.

I didn’t want this book to end. I loved both MC and enjoyed getting to know a little about other characters in common with New Ink on Life.
The narration was really good on this one. And as always, above par writing. A+! Recommend all day!

Loved it - the story and narration!

I absolutely INHALED this book! Finished it in less than 2 days - great story/excellent narration (as always by Vurginia Rose & Carly Robins)! It was the first JD book I've read and now I'm hooked!
