Xe Sands is excellent narrator
I always enjoy listening to her. Any author who cannot write a good book without using poor choice of words, which the story would be better without, will not get more than 4 stars from me.

Over the top thrill, minimal legal
Book 2 of the Jesse Black series. I listened to this audiobook. The writing was good, the characters were well-developed and the narration was also good. That being said, the action was swift and suspenseful initially but built to the point of being ridiculous. The takeover of the courthouse was implausible and Jessie went from being a good attorney to Wonder woman - super human and bullet proof. What could have been a really good legal thriller was married by too much over the top "thrill" and not enough "legal".

Lots of action and suspense!
Informant is the second novel in the ADA Jesse Black series. There is lots of action, but not much of it is in a courtroom. The suspense is extreme. I hope this series continues! Xe Sands is a very accomplished narrator.

Great legal thriller
I enjoyed the clean story. There is violence and people being killed. The escape from one deadly situation into the hands of a rougue lawman was intense. I recommend this book.
