Thought provoking

I’m unsure what to say about this book. It is thought provoking in a manner I feel is necessary for the faith. But it also feels too thin, with too little substance to truly support the hypothesis. Granted in some ways the proof is in present events...so overall is good simply for the questioning and contemplation it engenders.

The narrator drove me crazy due to her absolute inability to pronounce common names and terms in other languages. I can understand some of this, but, particularly for names of people and places, this is extremely grating.

Absolutely terrific

This was a terrific book by Taylor Marshall. I couldn't put it down. I now have a much more thorough understanding of the Catholic Church.

Excellent

If you are frustrated, as many are, with the current state of affairs in the Roman Catholic Church, this book is an excellent source of historical, contextual, and even spiritual reasoning for the crisis we now face.
By understanding what is presented in this book, one will come to a better understanding of just how long and intricately the enemies of Our Lord and His Church have been plotting and waring against Them.
Moreover, Dr. Marshall’s conclusions are well considered and do bear in mind well the reminders of Our Lord and His Blessed Mother to remain hopeful because, “the gates of hell shall never prevail” against the church founded by Jesus on the rock, Peter, and in the end Mary’s Immaculate heart will triumph.

Eye Opening

This book provided answers for so many perplexing questions I’ve had as a practicing Catholic. I especially appreciate that the author clearly and correctly expressed that we are not alone in this battle against evil forces, but can rely on the help of our Lord Jesus through the sacraments, the Rosary, and other aids His Church has provided for us over the Centuries.

Although this is an audiobook, I “couldn’t put it down.” Having just finished listening to it, I’m about to restart! It’s jam-packed with eye-opening information, and I thank the author and God for this important explanation of our trying times, and our reasons for hope.

Gained greater understanding of the cultural infiltration, manipulation, and ideology making way in to the Church, and the responses, or perceived responses to the vulnerability of the Church.

Great Book!

I enjoyed listening to this book about my Catholic faith and finding out the truth!

N IN-DEPTH ANALYSIS OF WHY THE CHURCH IS DECLINING

If one wants to understand why the Roman Catholic Church in America is in a declining spiral, then pick up this book. The problems identified are many, not just the problem of homosexuality. After explaining each of the problems, Marshall gives us a plan on how to fight to bring everything back to the true faith. This book is one of my best Audible purchases.

Excellently presented

I was baptized and made my initial sacraments in a church that resisted full change to the ON mass. I left as a teen, came back as an adult and was confused by all the laxity in the mass. At first I liked it because I was of the secular world. The more I see and study, the worse it gets. I am very happy to have found Traditional Catholics like Taylor Marshall. This book helps tie in the Marian apparition messages to the truth of the faith and what is really happening.

An Interesting listen

The hardest thing about this is audio book is not the widespread curruption but the butchered French. It had me so tempted to turn it off. If you are recording a book, please take a little time to learn to pronounce.

Knowledge is Comfort in Harrowing Times

Others have given low marks overall because of the narrator. It was an annoyance to me as well, but didn't detract from the information to be gained from this well researched and well written book. What gives me comfort is realising, that no matter how foolish men conspire with evil, God in His infinite love and mercy has not abandoned His Bride, but is purifying Her.
