Captivating Medical Thriller

The narrator brought this already intriguing book to life. Interesting, easy to follow characters as the discovery and truth unravels.

Enjoyed

The story was interesting. it probably isn't a book I'll listen to again but I'm not sorry for time I spent on it.

True thriller

I loved the plot as it developed. Kept me at the edge of my seat to the very end.

Heart Racer

Wow! Never mind the so so start, this book gains momentum, and races right up to the finishing. Suspense galore to a thrilling end.

Hang in there

The 1st half of this book is a cliché, from arrogant doctors with God complexes that need to use $20 words to show how “smart” they are, to the “beautiful” heroine and her rugged, handsome new FBI flame. If you force yourself to get past the 1st half of the book, you will be surprised.

I had to put it down

Sesquipedalian perfectly describes the author.
I’d be willing to bet that he spent more time swapping every day words with ones that would make him feel superior to his readers.
Never again.

Could not finish this

The reader has a very annoying, old-fashioned voice, making the dialogue sound almost cartoonish. The writing is worse. Had to go check when the book was actually written. Audible says 2018, but it feels more like 1956. I think at one point the author said one of the characters 'guffawed.' When he described the main character as having a "perfect bust" I finally could not make myself go any further.
