goated series gonna miss it excellent work Monty love your style of writing and can't wait till more series of yours come out on audio 🔥🔥

the end?

unfortunately it's the end of a wonderful series of books though there is enough for Monty 🤠 to write another I get, it's not fun writing the same thing over and over but I hope we get to meet Cal and his expanding family in the future.

Everything I listen to this series a lot over waiting for This book to come out it was good and you can get lost with the book

Sad it's over

This is one of the few LitRPG series that I am sad to see come to an end. I fell in love with the characters immediately and looked forward to every new development. I also got each of the books as soon as I learned they were available. Definitely worth every minute.

not awful but rushed

give yourself a few days before going from book 3 to 4... the male VA change is crazy and his aussie accent is trash. the story should have been longer for action 8 hrs for what should have been a 12 or 14 hr book. all the build up just to be rushed in the last 45 min.
it's not bad, but is wasn't great... I give a generous 4

rushed ending

as the title says, the ending felt abrupt and rushed, hard to take any closure from it,still amazing as usual and if quinn released 10 more sequels to this I'd snatch em up the second I could, could've used atleast 1 more book to really finish this series right though. on a side note the male VA changing his voice so much was jarring, not really the authors fault there though

New narrator is jarring...

Great story, rushed ending, and it's jarring how different the new MC narrator sounds so different from the previous, both in sound and tone.. he sounds lazier, and doesn't have as much feeling...

Fantastic Series

Really enjoyed the series since it first came out. I remember checking every month since I finished the first book to see if Audible had released the next one in the series. Sad to see the series end with this one but can't wait to see what new adventures are in store.
The book itself was great but towards the last hour and a half it felt rushed. Jumping from one thing to the next with little to help the transition in time or locations.

Need More!!

Really enjoyed this series, and I’m super disappointed it ends here. Felt like there was a lot left to explore in this world, but I’m ok with where it ended. I look forward to more stories like this by Montgomery Quinn.

More of the same, and rushed ending

If you're here for more of the first three, that's exactly what you're getting, with the caveat that the ending is ridiculously rushed. If you've made it this far, it's worth finishing the series out. That being said...

Here we are at the end and the main character is still a gullible moron lacking common sense. He's also still a retrograde cro-magnon that puts himself in the line of fire to "defend" his summons, putting them in lethal danger by proxy. The first couple of times it's understandable, even endearing; at this point it's proof positive he's missing key braincells and has no self-control. All of which is to say, we've seen little to no character growth on Calon's part over the course of the whole series. This has been a singular point of frustration for me.

Wayne Kelly's Australian accent is still awful, and he's still otherwise underwhelming. Raya Kayne has been hard-carrying the entire series, and continues to do so.

Also, something is seriously out of whack with the audio mastering. It's like someone stuck a compressor on the final mix where all the settings are randomly changed multiple times a second. I had to load my own compressor browser extension to get things listenable.
