I love this series and this book is one of the best of the ones I have listened to so far. Start at book one and go forward so that you can see the characters and story build. The reader is excellent. The stories are interesting and the characters are fantastic.

So sorry the series has ended
The characters in this novel will make you feel as if you know them personally. I have greatly enjoyed this series and this book was possibly the best of them all. Solid storyline, exceptional storytelling, and great investigative work and technique. This book also has plenty of action and personal interest as well. Virtually flawless.

Fortune's Worlds are Crashing Together!
If you could sum up Hurricane Force in three words, what would they be?
Fortune's worlds collide
What other book might you compare Hurricane Force to and why?
Other than the other books in this series.... maybe the Rose Garner Mysteries or Ghost-in-law, just without the paranormal part.
Have you listened to any of Cassandra Campbell’s other performances before? How does this one compare?
Just in this series which she does a great job in them all.
Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?
The end broke my heart.

Another great story this one is more about Fortune's world instead of the people of Sinful.

Gets better and better!
This is the best book so far. The characters are engaging and fun and it's easy to imagine the scene as you listen. Love it!

Excellent narration but needs to research the southern pronunciation of names
I absolutely love this series! But being from the south, it’s like hearing fingernails on a blackboard to hear the common Southern names miss pronounced. Oh, i won’t stop listening but it would be so rewarding if Hebert would be pronounced “A bear” and Dugas “do gah”!❤️

Love
I really love this series and can’t get enough! The bond between the characters really become apparent in this book and I can’t wait until I can read the next one!

Back to 4 stars
The last couple of books in the series have been pretty ho-hum. Same old thing and antics. Although this one doesn't deviate from the pattern of mayhem and "investigation," finally there is some evolvement in the CIA plot. I appreicate that some truth comes out and now the characters can further develop.

Very Entertaining and more original and thoughtful
What did you love best about Hurricane Force?
I loved the entire series, this being the latest one that I have listened to.
Which character – as performed by Cassandra Campbell – was your favorite?
the narrator did a wonderful job, adding greatly to my enjoyment of the story.
