About this listen

Cassandra Palmer recently defeated a god, which you'd think would buy a girl a little time off. But it doesn't work that way when your job description is Pythia - the world's chief clairvoyant. Cassie is busier than ever, trying to learn about her power, preparing for her upcoming coronation, and figuring out her relationship with the enigmatic sexy master vampire, Mircea.

But someone doesn't want Cassie to become Pythia and is willing to go to any lengths to make sure the coronation ceremony never happens - including attacking her mother before Cassie is even born.

Great Series but not so great narrator

Would you consider the audio edition of Hunt the Moon to be better than the print version?

Book version is better!!!!!

How could the performance have been better?

Different narrator

Any additional comments?

I've read all these books until book 5. I decided to do audible. The narrators voice was annoying. I'm going to download the book on my iPad. The series is great and it's sad how certain narrators can ruin it. I just finished on audible The Georgia Kincaid Series by Richelle Mead and narrated by Elisabeth Rodgers, she was outstanding!!!!! Karen Chance needed her.

Best Yet!!

The story really comes full form here. There are twists I did not expect and they are great!! I notice the narrator changes for the next book and I am a little scared, because this narrator IS Cassie Palmer! This series really is great, lots of action, some romance, and a great world that you can get immersed in easily. Highly recommend!!

Great Stuff

At first this felt like a filler book, maybe a 'character' developing one. But it was good stuff. Great tie ins.

To love or to be in love, That is the question???

What could be harder than killing a god? That would be killing three gods. In Hunt the Moon, Cassie Palmer takes on another fantastical task, namely kill another god (or in this case the god???s representatives). Don???t worry. This is not a repeat of the last book. In this installment of the Cassandra Palmer series, we also learn more about Cassie???s mother and father as well as more about Lord Mircea and John Pitchin. But the burning question still remains: Mircea or Pritchin? In other words, to love or to be in love? It must be ???to be in love???; therefore, it must be Pritchin. Karen Chance has outdone herself with her action-packed plot and witty narrative, and she does a wonderful job with Marco, Jonas Marsden, and Fred. The absolute worst thing about this book is the fact that it is over. I can???t wait for book 6.

I really enjoyed the latest installment of this series. Great characters and lots of action are entertaining to the last word. The narrator, Cynthia Holloway is excellent.

I hope for more Cassie

This book was everything I hoped, But who does Cassie really love.....I hope the next book answer some question, like why is Prickin helping Cassie? And who is he really?? Sometimes I feel the writer forget we need some more than a few setence on background of main players in the book, just sayin!!
Start with book 1, you will not be sorry...

Entertaining

This book is action packed. From a love triangle to battles and mythical creatures and some very shocking revelations, I was glued to it from start to finish. Excellent world building and character development! The narrator did an awesome job with providing unique voices for each character and appropriate tone inflections and speed of reading for each scene.
